CANCELLED: Impacts of the SECURE Act to Retirement Plans
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO THE DEVELOPING ISSUES WITH COVID-19.
The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (SECURE) Act bill was enacted on December 20th, 2019 and many of the provisions went into effect on January 1, 2020. With it came many questions for those who are planning for retirement, are retired, or are retiring in the near future. Passed as part of a spending bill, the SECURE Act brought with it the most significant changes to retirement plans since 2006. (KEPC) will be presenting a panel discussion that will review the impacts of this legislation. The panel encourages attendees to submit any questions they have or topics they would like covered with regard to the SECURE Act before the March meeting date. Please forward any questions or topics to Andy Hampson at Andy.Hampson@homefederaltn.com.
Course objectives: Attendees will have an understanding of Act’s effects on Estate Planning, Plan Design and Administration, Tax Planning and other issues/concerns.
