Maximizing Business Value - Providing Investment Banking Services to the Middle Market
The course will be a discussion of the middle market, types of middle market advisors and their roles, and focus on the sell-side M&A transaction process. Mr. Decosimo will discuss in appropriate detail the six step process that includes assessment (valuation), preparation, marketing, deal making, due diligence and closing.
Course Objective: Understanding that the primary role of the advisor is to create a competitive environment while providing insight and experience such as valuation, negotiation, managing the deal team, mitigating risks, minimizing distraction and maintaining confidentiality.
